My most recent translated novel was published jointly by Allen & Unwin in Australia and Annick Press in Canada in autumn 2007. This is a novel for teenagers by the German author Brigitte Blobel, describing a young girl's anger as she deals with a bleak family and school life. First published in Germany by cbj Verlag in 2006, it was described by the Neue Luzerner Zeitung as “one of the best young adult books of the year”.
